The Zeal Group consists of a small group of Christian men and women who want to grow as business owners together and help one another achieve their goals. The group meets each month to discuss relevant topics, learn from one another, and work together to solve problems.

The Zeal Group Goals:

  • Glorify God in the work we do.
  • Create new bonds & friendships
  • Support other men in work and life.
  • Financial freedom.
  • Mentor the next generation to be equipped to pursue self employment.
  • Build up and grow other Christians’ businesses.
  • Resource for questions and burdens we all experience.

About Zeal and the ideas it aims to cultivate.

My name is Brett Jackson. Founder of Zeal. I’ve been where you are and I know how it feels. Through the past 15 years of business ownership, I have collected skills, gained experience, and discovered amazingly talented people to work alongside. These factors have put me in a unique position to succeed and now to help others succeed.

I don’t know everything that there is to know about business concepts, fancy lingo, and the latest marketing craze. But I do know how to serve customers, provide value, and adapt to find success.

Every business is so much more than just numbers and sales. There is a person behind it with a dream for making a change in their world. With a desire to write their story as the hero of their business. My dream is to support your small business so that you may have zeal to achieve your dreams every single day. Then with that zeal, you can learn, grow, and share that success with others.

Let’s go on a journey together. Let’s make amazing things happen.

Bible Verses that Drive this Group

    • “He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed.” Proverbs 13:20
    • “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.” – Colossians 3:23
    • “We love you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us.” – 1 Thessalonians 2:8
    • “For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. For in fact the body is not one member but many.” – 1 Cor 12:12-14
    • Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. – 2 Cor 2:14-15
    • For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,  having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. – Eph 2:18-22

This group is open to all business owners but we do have a few rules if you attend or bring a friend:

  1. Stay positive and look at finding solutions. We aim to keep from airing grievances during these meetings.
  2. You must own a percentage of the company you are representing. No MLM or similar groups.
  3. Be involved. Give us feedback, be present, ask questions, follow through on goals you make.
  4. Confidentiality is important. Sometimes we discuss profits, costs, overhead, hiring, firing, etc. These things are shared in confidence in the group.
  5. This group is not a sales tool or contact generator. If business connections are made organically, that is great, but pushing your business services is not allowed.
  6. Being a Christian is not required, but we will uphold anyone who attends to aim to be Christlike in their words and actions.
  7. Kids are welcome, but please bring quiet activities for them to limit distractions. There will be a designated space for kids at each meeting.
